Recognition is a piece created in collaboration with composer Anna Sowa at the invitation of Klanglab, a contemporary music group based in Basel. It is based on an earlier work called Cognition, with added lighting and new electronic sounds developed by me.

The performance is inspired by different kinds of encounters: with oneself, with another person, with a group, with the world. In this expanded version, new layers of encounter come into play: between sound and image, between body and space, between perception and the transformation of reality.
